SUBMITTING A CLAIM
Before any repairs can be made, you must call 833.342.2791 to begin the authorization and claim process. Our claims department hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (CT) and Saturday, 8:00 am to noon (CT). For mechanical breakdowns, please carefully follow this procedure outlined in your contract:
- Use all reasonable means to protect your vehicle from further damage. This may require you to stop your vehicle and call for Roadside Assistance to have your vehicle towed.
- Be sure to only take your vehicle to a licensed repair facility of your choice. Have the repair facility contact us at 833.342.2791 before you direct any repairs to be made.
- Authorization from The Tech Choice is strictly required before any repairs can begin. Describe all of your concerns to the repair facility, and authorize the necessary diagnosis. Once the problem is identified, call our claims department to initiate the claim: (833.342.2791).
For mechanical breakdown outside of our normal business hours, please consult your contract for instructions on submitting a claim after hours.
As an important reminder, Keep All Receipts. This includes receipts for car rental charges, lodging, meals and signed service receipts (including dates, mileage and description of your vehicle) as required by your contract. These receipts verify you’ve met your obligation to keep the vehicle in good maintenance.
